General
Memberships give your child consistent, structured support each week. You choose either Core (1 lesson/week) or Plus (2 lessons/week), and payments are billed monthly. Lessons can be scheduled at the same time each week for continuity or you can choose each week depending on your schedule.
A lot! And far more than a single hourly tutoring fee.
Your membership includes:
• Weekly live 1:1 lessons
• Diagnostics testing
• Structured lesson planning
• Personalised Google Classroom
• Homework support
• Monthly progress reports (Plus)
• Homework chat helpline (Mon - Fri) (Plus)
• Parent communication including monthly check ins (Plus)
• Exam past paper marking (Plus)
• IA support (DP only) (Plus)
Memberships are designed to be a full support system, not pay-per-hour tutoring.
Core provides steady weekly support and is ideal for maintaining confidence and understanding. Lessons are once a week.
Plus includes two weekly lessons plus additional teacher-level support such as diagnostics, full parent reports, weekly past-paper marking (IGCSE/DP), IA guidance, extended chat support and priority scheduling.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your Miss IB Maths membership at the beginning of any new billing month, depending on availability.
All lessons are online and take place on Google Meet. Students also receive their own personal Google Classroom, where all lesson notes, homework, resources, and reports are organised.
I require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a lesson.
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are not refundable, as that time has been reserved specifically for your child.
Before the 24 hour notice period, simply cancel the lesson and use the credit to rebook within the month.
At the moment, all lessons are one-to-one to ensure truly personalised support. Occasional short group workshops (IA, exam technique, revision) are offered seasonally.
To get the most out of each lesson, students should come prepared with a few essentials. This helps the session run smoothly and keeps us focused.
Essentials (please have these ready every session):
• A calculator (the one they use for school/exams where possible)
• Basic stationery: pen/pencil, ruler, eraser, highlighter (optional but helpful)
• A dedicated maths tutoring exercise book (ideal for keeping everything in one place)
• A charged device for the video call (laptop or tablet preferred) + reliable internet
• A quiet, comfortable workspace with a desk/table and good lighting
• No distractions: phone on silent and put away, TV/music off, and notifications minimised
• Camera on during the lesson (this really improves engagement and communication)
Nice-to-haves (optional):
• Headphones (great for focus and better audio)
• A water bottle
• A snack (optional for an hour-long session - totally fine if it helps them concentrate).
• A stylus or writing tablet is helpful but not essential.
Yes - IA support is included within the Plus Membership (IA idea check, structure review and tips).
I cannot give predicted marks for IAs as this is not allowed within the IB, but I can offer feedback and suggestions.
Yes! I work with students across Europe, the UK, the Middle East and beyond. I have taught students from almost every country!
